Your Role:

 

As the Marketing Manager, you will support in-market brands, and are accountable for the development and effective execution of marketing tactics as outlined in the marketing plan and the post-implementation impact assessment, with guidance and direction from the Business Unit Head (BUH). You are responsible for supporting the development of the Brand(s) strategy and associated marketing plan within the associated Therapeutic Area, contributing an understanding of customer needs, market dynamics and therapeutic knowledge. You will provide budgetary inputs to the BUH and support the BUH in the management of agency partners. You will also work closely with the sales team to ensure the effective tactical execution of tactics, relaying customer-level feedback from the sales team to the BUH to further inform and refine strategies.

 

You will also develop promotional materials and campaigns (e.g., messaging, sales tools, PR campaigns, direct to consumer tactics) and work with agencies and vendors where necessary. You will communicate key marketplace milestones to the sales team and appropriate cross-functional team members (e.g., new competitors, new data). You will lead the development and execution of strategic and actionable sales meetings, contribute to ongoing analysis of market data, and recommend appropriate strategy and plan refinements. This is a single incumbent role, head office based with option for flex work arrangements.

 

Travel: approximately 20%.  

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline
  • Minimum 2-3 years of pharmaceutical sales or marketing experience.
  • 3+ years of Pharmaceutical experience. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • You are fluent in English
  • French language as an asset
  • Pharmaceutical marketing experience
  • N&I experience
  • You have a demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, flexible team environment and are self-sufficient and self-motivated
  • You have a strong analytical ability with experience with IMS/Brogan data and internal sales reporting platforms as an asset
  • You are a strong communicator, both oral and written and are self-aware and able to work within a team
