Internship - DSP Platform optimization

Location: Corsier-sur-Vevey

Start Date: around 01.02.2024

Duration: about 6 months

Your role:

As part of the Global Drug Substance Development department, you will join the Technology Innovation team, composed of motivated scientists dedicated to create and implement solutions to support the development and manufacturing of new biological therapeutics. The project proposal consists of a continued effort to enhance downstream processing. Recent innovative technologies are under evaluation to improve knowledge on chromatography and process viral validation. The internship's objective is to further investigate these areas before transfer to process development and manufacturing teams.

You will play an key and active role in designing, executing, and interpreting experiments.

You will be trained to be autonomous in the lab and in data treatments, will participate in the experimental design and in every discussion concerning your project.

Your profile:

• Master/engineer student in Biotechnology or related fields
• Highly motivated and autonomous
• Ability to conceptualize, solve complex challenges and to communicate about your project
• Great team spirit
• Previous experience in DSP is a plus
• Good written and oral knowledge in English, French is a plus
