Your Role:
The Senior Product Owner (SPO) is the SAFe role primarily responsible for product roadmap and maximizing the value delivered by the team by ensuring that the team backlog is aligned with customer and stakeholder needs, the SPO is the team’s primary customer advocate and primary owns business and technology strategy.
Specific Job description
- Describes SAFe Agile features, Releases, Program increments and User stories.
- Connect with external and internal customers /stakeholders. Owns up Product Vision & Roadmap.
- Collaborate on Enablers with Architects and Portfolio.
- Provides use cases and customer specific workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Owns and communicate the vision and business value of the product to the Agile Release train..
- Ensures alignment with the project deliverables in terms of prioritization and outcomes.
Key AGILE/ Product development responsibilities
- Participate in the planning process every PI increment
- Lead the authoring of key artifacts including hypothesis, outcomes, Features, user stories, acceptance criteria, tasks, and results
- Generate and manage the backlog of user stories
- Define test, sprint, and increment outcomes for the team
- Make final scope backlog for PI and conduct system Demos.
- Lead the presentation of Demos
- Work with the Scrum Master to plan and execute the Sprint within the Agile development process
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- SAFe POPM certification
- 12+years of experience having at least 8 years hands-on development & remaining as product owner/manager.
- Deep knowledge and experience with driving and applying user-centered design processes
- Bachelors of engineering in Computers science/IT/Electrical
- Hands Experience on Process Automation, Web Application, Microservice
- Experience in any one among JAVA, Springboot, Codesys
- Understanding of Control Automation systems e.g., PLCs, SCADA (Wonderware/Ignition etc.), communication protocols e.g. OPC UA, Ethernet IP etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of tools JIRA, Confluence.
- Preferred knowledge on ISA95, GAMP5, ISA62443
- Preferred knowledge on SQL Server
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including strategy, engineering, and product management
- Firm understanding of service and product design methodologies
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Extensive experience with applying reusable methodologies and frameworks for conducting design sprints, user validation, and related field work
- Proficient in defining MVPs and prototypes of varying fidelity based on project requirements
- Highly proficient in developing and applying prioritization frameworks from both business and user perspectives
- Expertise in designing and applying user research methodologies, artifacts and insights
- Effective communication and ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent leadership skills, problem resolution abilities, and good judgment
