Our colleagues across the globe love innovating with science and technology to enrich people’s lives with our solutions in Healthcare, Life Science, and Electronics. Together, we dream big and are passionate about caring for our rich mix of people, customers, patients, and planet. Your Role:

As a part of the Electronics Controlling Data & Analytics team you will support us in ensuring efficient data and process flows. This entails a broad spectrum of tasks, from setting up integrated and consistent data sources to automating (partially) manual process steps, to improving analyses and forecastings. For this you will have the chance of exploring the Palantir Foundry platform and working with our data lake and various Palantir applications (Fusion, Contour, Slate etc.). You would help us build data pipelines, linking and transforming data sets using Palantir Contour or PySpark Code. You would work together with other Team members, e.g. our Tableau developer, to ensure the needed data set gets built and delivered in such a format that makes the down-stream applications using the data run faster. You would help us build a pilot for an integrated reporting and commenting process and associated data flow on Palantir Foundry. You would also help us explore data science methods applied to forecasting and analytics use cases; trying out different forecasting models and algorithms, evaluating accuracy against human-driven forecasts. In general you would also help us in our day to day operations, supporting team capacity for controlling related tasks, like cost object and P&L data quality in our systems and hierarchies.

Who you are:

  • Study Business, Business Engineering (Wirtschaftsinformatik) or Information Technologies and you are matriculated during the whole period of the working student employment or in a gap period between Bachelor's and Master's degree
  • Completed Bachelor’s degree with good or excellent results
  • Ideally: previous internship experience in Finance / Controlling
  • Strong Excel Skills and project work experience; ideally: also TM1
