Strategic Global Product Manager – Controller Systems & Data                         

Your Role

Delivery Systems and Services (DS&S) provides delivery equipment for specialty gas, liquid chemical, slurry as well as parts and carrier clean equipment, associated turnkey installation and services to our global customer base. 

As Strategic Global Product Manager (GPM) for Control Systems & Data you will work across all our global product families – gas, chem and slurry delivery equipment. You will be responsible for developing the long-term vision for all our control system platforms (microprocessor & PLC), related communication systems as well as other revenue opportunities that require the generation of data & digital solutions to bring value-add to our customer’s manufacturing processes. This will include the creation of strategic roadmaps in close alignment with customer and market needs while anticipating future technology trends that will help us to further differentiate amongst competition and positions us for new opportunities.

As part of the Strategic Global Product Manager’s role, you will be accountable for tasks such as:

• Leverage the equipment & materials data flow throughout an entire product lifecycle, and use that data to build and perfect a feature or product (equipment & service)
• Collect, analyze, and structure product data to drive the development for advanced controller platforms and related communications systems as well as to refine the existing portfolio
• Identify new opportunities to apply machine learning and data mining tools to our equipment & service portfolio to improve their efficiency and effectiveness
• Assess, understand, and evaluate the market and industry dynamics as well as the competitive landscape
• Ensures long-term product performance and support the organization to evolve according to changing market conditions and trends.
• Work with internal & external stakeholders to develop, implement and own data and analytics use cases in response to customer needs (including automation, optimization, prediction, and personalization capabilities)
• Develop and own the business continuity strategy for all controller platforms, align with the equipment focused GPMs on long-term materials forecasting to guarantee supply chain readiness
• Close collaboration and engagement with the DS&S strategy team to drive our 10year+ business plan

Who you are:

• Bachelor or master’s degree, Engineering / Data or Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred
• 7+ years of experience in product management and/or commercial/customer-facing experience, preferably in the computing industry, or equivalent technical leadership
• Demonstrated experience in the semiconductor industry and working with semiconductor delivery equipment
• Profound experience in data science, data/network security, and software development for scientific applications preferred.
• Storyteller, who knows how to present data insights and who can communicate with people at all levels is a plus.
• Curiosity to understand the industry market trends and competitive factors to develop growth strategies 
• Creativity to further guide investigation with the goal of uncovering new information and solutions
• Strong prioritization skills, seeing the bigger picture and focusing on what’s important
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility and agility combined with strong resilience
