Your role

As a Reliability Engineer, you will contribute to the development, testing and qualification of new technologies, materials, and components for eyrise® dynamic glazing. Your work will be to assure our glazing products are reliable and will pass all the required tests in line with customer and market expectations. You will be a member of the Technology Development team of eyrise® and work closely together with Quality Assurance, Service, Engineering and external test and research institutes. You will be coordinating product reliability and durability tests, implement and validate test methods and assess test results. You will collaborate with external test and research institutes and implement improvements in the existing product design for dynamic glazing. You will assure that the product design complies with industry norms and standards. Identification and qualification of materials and components for dynamic glazing will be key as well as coordinating the fabrication of prototype devices. You will provide technical support to engineering, production, and quality departments as well as our customers. You will manage your own development projects in cooperation with other departments and external partners.

Who you are

• You have a technical background (MSc or PhD) in mechanical engineering, materials science, or a related field.
• Hands-on and have affinity with structural mechanics and reliability testing.
• At least 5 years of experience in a relevant function.
• Experienced in structural mechanics and reliability testing.
• Supportive attitude towards the team and partners.
• Good communication skills and the ability to discuss technical topics with other departments and external partners.
• Proficiency in English (Dutch or German knowledge are an advantage)
