Your role: 

 

Work activities will concern the conduction of general toxicology and pharmacokinetic studies involving the use of laboratory animals (rats, mice, monkeys, dogs and minipigs). The role includes housing, management and treatment activities for laboratory animals, which can be summarized as: maintenance, care and the welfare of laboratory animals; changing/moving animals, providing nutrition and water; treatment of animals with new study pharmaceuticals and taking biological samples; control of animal health conditions including recognition of any problems attributable to treatment with new pharmaceuticals; preparation of study and laboratory equipment documentations; recording and control of experimental data collected during studies; cleaning/maintenance of cages and boxes including all housing materials; maintenance of hygiene and cleanliness of all laboratory environments; management of laboratory stores and consumable materials; getting acquainted with the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Research Practice (GRP) rules and their application. Who you are: 

 

  • High school diploma (preferably scientific track)
  • Italian mother tongue (preferably)
  • Basic knowledge of English
  • Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
  • Good teamworker
  • Good interaction with colleagues, managers and other laboratories
  • Previous experience in this sector is preferable
  • Available to erform internal and external courses and deepen English language skills and knowledge to the systems used in laboratories
