Your Role:  

At MilliporeSigma, the Shipping Coordinator is responsible for safe loading, staging, and weight distribution of outbound shipments, as well as the organization of all shipment paperwork and correct placarding of outbound pallets.

  • Prepping of outbound pallets includes stretch wrapping, restacking, labeling, and staging
  • General warehouse functions include cycle counts, picking, packing, and cleaning


The shift for this position is Monday – Friday, 2:40pm – 11:10pm


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds


Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Warehousing experience
  • Experience with material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet movers, swing reach trucks, pallet jacks
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Aptitude to operate electronic systems and demonstrate general computer skills 
  • Experience with the proper loading of outbound trucks and containers (staging and weight distribution)
  • Understanding of DOT, IATA, IMDG regulations
  • Understanding of blocking and bracing of outbound shipments
