Your Role:

As Head of EHS, you and your team ensure that operations are performed in accordance with environmental, health & safety practices, which includes the conformance with regulatory requirements. You assist in and support the development of PDSAs and maintain a professional work environment for our employees. While adopting our MilliporeSigma Role Model behavior, you act as a leader to improve the importance of what we value to all employees. Also, you drive department activities, support our company vision, and lead strategic initiatives.

This position is a full-time on-site position located in Danvers, MA.


Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Chemistry, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering, or closely-related degree.
  • Certification/license in IH, Safety and/or Engineering, as appropriate.
  • 7-10 years dynamic industrial experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience in environmental, health/safety, preferably in a large plant.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations, as well as EHS evaluation and control methods.
  • Advanced presentation and training development skills.
  • Advanced in incident prevention methods (accident, spill, fire, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of occupational medicine practices.
  • Database, Microsoft Suite, and spreadsheet skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Well organized, able to balance multiple projects at one time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Up to 10 years practical (plant level) experience
  • Up to 10 years of supervisory/management experience.
