Your role: 

In this role you will drive the digitalization and harmonization of the Life Science SDS Authoring processes and solutions to one global standard. The SDS Authoring Expert is responsible for the problem analysis, design, testing and the execution of the SDS Authoring processes and solutions in conjunction with data fit concepts. You will work closely together with colleagues from various business and regulatory departments for an efficient and timely implementation and ensure compliance with regulatory, quality and business requirements globally. You are going to improve efficiency and secure value and innovation of the global SDS Authoring process and solution via implementation of new functionalities. You will ensure efficient working procedures such as lean six sigma projects. You will utilize skills such as machine learning, big data analytics and application solutions. Ideally you have experience in MS Office, SQL, Python or any other programing language.

 

Who You Are:

  • Master’s degree in Natural Science, Life Science or a Technical discipline (minimum requirement)
  • 1+ years industry experience including technical use of Python, Java Script, or other programming languages (minimum requirement)
  • PhD Degree in Natural Science, Life Science or a Technical discipline (preferred requirement)
  • 1+ years’ experience using SAP EHS (preferred requirement)
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations (CLP, REACH, GHS,OSHA) (preferred requirement)
  • Excellent interpersonal/intercultural skills (preferred requirement)
  • Comfortable working in complex environments (preferred requirement)
  • Strong command of English and other language proficiencies (preferred requirement)

 

This role can be in Darmstadt Germany, or Buchs Switzerland.
