Your Role:

At MilliporeSigma, the Production Quality Control Inspector II is responsible for ensuring that manufactured products meet company-established quality standards. 

    • Communicate to the manufacturing team any issues or opportunities that may affect product quality
    • Adhere to company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) procedures. 
    • Shift is Fri/Sat/Sun, 7am – 7pm

 

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • 2+ years of experience in production quality control
    • Ability to stand and/or walk on production floor for up to 12 hours

 

Preferred Qualifications:

    • 1+ year(s) vocational training
    • Associate degree a plus
    • Ability to read, follow and understand operating procedures
    • Ability to read, speak and understand English.
    • Capable of doing basic math and counting to large numbers without error
    • Willingness to learn multiple production operations and adjust quickly to new tasks
    • Needs to be able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally to report production information
    • Sufficient computer related skills to perform data entry and print reports
    • Experience in meeting customer demand and expectations
    • Knowledge of how the team is organized and how own tasks relate to the others in the team/unit
