Responsabilities

Sales Manager leads a sales team by providing guidance, training and mentorship, setting sales quotas and goals, creating sales plans, analyzing data, assigning sales territories and building the team.

Also build and maintains long-term external relationships with a defined customer base or a limited number of key senior-level decision makers and influencers. The sales Manager Works with a defined set of customers, typically within a geographic or industry focus, to meet revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per customer, and by identifying, developing and closing new sales opportunities. The sales Manager Creates demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with customers. The sales Manager Conducts regular status and strategy meetings with the customer's to understand their needs and link them to the organization's product/service strategies.

The sales Manager role is strategic and impacts the effectiveness of own work team through the quality and timeliness of the work produced. It also requires working within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives, meet deadlines and gains some discretion in problem solving.

Who you are:

  • Typically requires a graduate degree (or equivalent) that provides knowledge of theories, principles and concepts within a discipline.
  •  Requires substantial professional experience (approximately 4-6 years as a guide)
  • first line manager with at least 2 year experience with proven records of acheivements

Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in own discipline and beyond to supplement formal knowledge to apply principles and concepts of own discipline in resolving issues as they arrive.
