Your Role: 
MilliporeSigma has an opening as a Sr. Process Scientist – Lipid Nanoparticles at our St. Louis site.  You will be reporting to the Manager of Advanced Drug Delivery in the contract manufacturing sector.  As the Sr. Process Scientist, you will work in the Process and Analytical Development department to develop and implement process unit operations focused on the production of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). 

 

  • Work independently as an individual contributor with minimal supervision
  • Lead process development efforts for customer based LNP projects
  • Lead customer project efforts assuring deliverables are on quality and on time
  • Interact with customers throughout project lifetime

Who You Are: 


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or other scientific field with 6+ years laboratory experience

OR

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or other scientific field with 2+ years’ laboratory experience

OR

  • PhD in Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or other scientific field with post-doc or 1+ years’ laboratory experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with process development
  • Experience with liquid phase mixing processes
  • Hands-on experience with filtration technology (ultrafiltration / diafiltration / TFF)
  • Experience working with lipids, liposomes / LNPs
  • Experience working with nucleic acids and/or bioprocess techniques
  • Experience working with digital tools such as chromatography data systems and electronic notebooks
