Your role:


As the Instrument & Field Service specialist you will be the point of contact for Hardware and maintenance processes. You will support internal and external customers in all aspects of administration and interact with customers in a professional manner to improve the customer’s experience. You will manage the South region (Italy, Spain and Portugal), the IFS specialist is also supporting any other regions depending on the needs. You will process customer requests for equipment orders and accurate back order management in order to secure and satisfy planned installation dates. You will act as central point for coordination and collaborate with the all service organization such as the technical department, Maintenance contract service and Field service engineer. You will cooperate closely with Field service sales for the order processing, shipment deliveries, revenue recognition, invoicing of hardware order. You will supply information to credit management about the invoiced amount (explanation request) for an installation, contract or repair. You will monitor hardware orders, service contracts and repairs.

About you:


  • Proficiency in English and Spanish is vital, knowledge of Italian is a plus.
  • Customer service or field service experience in a similar international environment or the eagerness to get familiar with this environment.
  • A positive outlook on taking care of customers and know how to organize/prioritize your work.
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and happy to work within a team as well as individually.
  • Accurate and have a great attention to details.
  • A problem-solver, and driven to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Experience with SAP and Oracle systems are a plus.
