The Role:

Develops future direction and implements strategy and Quality programs to establish and maintain high quality standards for 9 sites within the IOS Cluster as well as designing programs to focus employees on continuous quality improvement.

Ensures quality of processes, products and suppliers in compliance with required quality standards and where applicable current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), regulatory commitments and customer quality requirements.

Directs the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems applying advanced analytical thought and judgment and in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and Life Science procedures.

Arbitrates local quality and resource decisions with the functional managers to guarantee independence of Quality Unit Managers.

Designs and implements policies, procedures and methods to develop and check product, material, components and/or operational quality. Drives important strategic negotiations and influences key decision makers across the Life Sciences network.

Fosters best practice sharing across sites and ensures application of risk management and sound root cause analysis. Ensures suitable technical infrastructure and site inspection readiness. Analyses and reports quality measures, performance, trends and improvements.


Who you are:

  • Related Graduate degree (e.g. pharmacist, chemist microbiologist, engineer) that provides knowledge of theories, principles and concepts applied to diverse manufacturing & testing environments supporting both highly regulated and non-regulated product portfolios.
  • Highly experienced professional with substantial managerial experience and considerable depth and breadth of expertise combined with in-depth knowledge of market, competitors, and technological processes.
  • Extensive knowledge on a broad range of quality regulations & industry requirements to support a diverse product mix.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with ability to work across a matrix structure in a global environment.
  • Ability to travel, including international travel.
