Location for this role is flexible, including remote work arrangement within the US.
As Strategic Product Manager Specialty Pigments Cosmetics, Food and Pharma, you shape industry knowledge and market insights into a strategic plan for leading product lines like Candurin®, Colorona®, Ronastar®, Timiron® or Xirona® through the entire product lifecycle. You set, align, implement, monitor, and continuously improve a long-term product roadmap and portfolio strategy in close collaboration with relevant partners such as R&D, Sales or Supply Chain, and ensure everyone is working towards the same goal. Accountable for the overall profitability development of the assigned product lines, you aim at balancing the need to deliver value to the company with what customers want and what is technically and operationally possible.
In this highly collaborative role, you work with Sales & Marketing for strategy implementation at regional and local level, and align with supply chain to ensure short-, mid- and long-term supply reliability. Accountable for and lead key projects related to strategy execution and business operation.
Who you are:
- Bachelors Degree paired with 8+ years of related experience in a B2B environment OR
- Masters Degree paired with 6+ years of related experience in a B2B environment OR
- PhD paired 5+ with years of related experience in a B2B environment
- Proven track record of managing product roadmaps and portfolio strategies
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a highly collaborative global environment
- Ability to solve problems creatively and to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Project management skills
- International travel may be required up to 10%
- Fluency in English
- Analytical and agile mentality
- Highly team-oriented and customer-focused working style
- Related industry experience in a B2B environment
