Validation Engineer Manager

Validation Engineering (VE) manager is reponsible for managing a team of 13 validation engineers and 1 technician with the goal of validation a wide range of raw material changes and new equipment to the company's quality and industry standards.
The VE manager reports to the Head of Strategy and Technology and plays a critical role in the ongoing security of supply for critical raw materials and the capacity expansions of the Jaffrey site through capital equipment validations.
The VE manager is responsible for a portfolio of over 100 discrete projects all requiring validation engineering. The VE manager, working with peers within and external to the Jaffrey site, assigns priority to the various projects and assigns resources to each.
Successful Candidate will be highly organized self-starter who can work within a complex matrix environment to drive project prioritization and completion.
Who you are:
- Bachelors degree or higher in a technical field required
- Experience with the IQ/OQ/PQ validation methodology and validation principles
- Demonstrated people management skills
- Strong project management background with proven use of tools to manage both a large portfolio of projects and individual project tasks
- Ability to estimate project costs and schedules
- Demonstrated quality mindset, experience in a quality engineering or quality manager role prefereable
- Six Sigma Greenbelt and/or black belt prefered
- PMP certification prefered
