OVERALL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
This position is responsible for developing new and maintaining existing customer accounts and actively selling and promoting biology products within the marketplace located in China region. Emphasis will be on developing key relationships and achieving business growth in line with company profitability requirements.
Responsible for the business development of Biology bulk products within the specified geographical region and specific customer groups.
Proactively develop new business opportunities.
Develop, plan and implement sales strategy for the biology products.
Analyze and interpret intelligence in industry and academia filed to assist marketing develop pricing and positioning of biology products.
Interface with local colleagues on market intelligence and account management & strategy issues.
Develop business opportunities of biology bulk products and drive financial revenues.
Gather, collect, analyze, and provide market intelligence to the relevant marketing and business personnel on biology products.
Develop business relationships network within customer organizations with multiple departmental personnel and functions.
Position and promote biology products as directed by Marketing and referenced in the product portfolio charts for the specified region.
Closely work with local/Regional Account managers with great collaborations to understand the customers and the market.
Master degree or above in biology.
Technical experience in the cell or protein research is mandatory.
3~5years’ working experience in biopharma/Biotech industry for research and application purpose is a plus.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of the Pharma, Biotech, CRO industry and academia would be preferred.
Strong interviewing and information gathering skills with ability to organize and interpret disparate information.
Demonstrable strong sales and business development track record and high-level negotiation skills.
Ability to communicate and influence at all levels both internally & externally.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Experience working within a multi-national company preferred.
Requires domestic travel.
Advanced computer skills – Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Fluent in both English and Chinese
