Your role: as Field Sales Manager Academia Nordics you will define the strategic planning and the recruitment and development of a direct team based in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. You will mentor and support the relevant BU’s Account Managers in negotiations, to develop & lead relationships with key customers to build a culture of customer intimacy within the team. As a member of the management team, it is expected that there will be significant input into planning activities and a high level of cooperation with the other elements of the sales segment in Europe. You will drive and lead the field sales team. You will act as a mentor and coach to the field team in all aspects of the sales process, encourage them to excel in customer-centricity. You will actively participate in customer visits with team members, to guide them and support them in closing the sale/sophisticated accounts. You will supervise performance against agreed objectives and modify the plan in light of results attained. You will develop and document a business plan to support the achievement of local targets and Corporate sales strategy.

It is a home office position based within or close to the assigned territory in the Nordics

Who you are:

  • You have a University Degree in Science or equivalent
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience within Field Sales
  • You have a minimum of 3 years in people management, leading a direct team
  • You have solid knowledge and the ability to mentor different sales methodologies
  • You possess good analytical skills and financial awareness. Strong customer focus approach
  • You are familiar with working remotely
  • You are proficient in English. Another Scandinavian language is valuable
