Who You Are:

The Digital Academy Manager will:

  • Passionately ensure the deployment of digital learning opportunities translates into short- and longer-term business success for digital products, services and operations by developing, establishing and owning the definition of success of the Life Science Digital Academy in alignment with the LS needs
  • Thought leader in developing the strategic roadmap and academy portfolio that advances the development and deployment of training solutions for the current and future state of digital training and the upskilling of our employees in both concepts and technology
  • Empathetically collaborate with key stakeholders across LS and HR on skill building (to determine how different personas learn, consume and internalize information and collectively build internal capabilities to drive their digital upskilling efforts)
  • Prudently weave digital learning efforts across LS as well as corporate efforts into a relevant learning fabric.
  • Demonstrate curiosity and interest in learning methodologies
  • Understand current learning technology capabilities and identify emerging technology opportunities, determining how to utilize digital products to create great learning experiences
  • Work closely with senior leaders, stakeholders, vendors and content developers across the business to conduct a thorough needs assessment and solutions minded recommendation for addressing the identified needs with a project plan and timeline.
  • Articulate to key stakeholders and leadership your long-term view on learning technology investments, evaluating new technologie

 

Who you are:

  • A minimum BA/BS in a business or related technical or scientific field
  • 8+ years of professional work experience with 5+ of those years in the areas of health or life science or a related technical field preferred
  • Execution/Management of complex change initiatives
  • Proven ability in establishing and driving a data, analytics and digital culture
  • Building networks, team enablement and Coaching (e.g. knowledge of relevant stakeholder networks and driving/supporting the community)
  • Data-driven decision making, feasibility and risk mitigation on a cost-benefit ratio
  • Training coordination and vendor management
  • Budget and cost management
  • Possess data and technology savvy to be able to work with multiple groups internally and implement industry best practices
  • Experience working with external consultants and the RFP process
  • Ability to partner with key stakeholders to do a full comprehensive needs assessment and conceptual learning and project plan with clear objectives, milestones and KPIs
  • Experience developing learning roadmaps that are customized for a diverse population of learners with varying levels of competency needs (core, expanded and specialized)
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary projects across international teams
  • Excellent organizational, decision making, and negotiation skills
  • Experienced in running large enterprise initiatives focused on driving change and measuring business outcomes
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
