Your Role:

At MilliporeSigma, the Senior Manufacturing Operator will serve a crucial role in manufacturing a quality product to our customers, by bringing a holistic approach to daily production. 

  • Drive production fulfillment and work closely with other team members in maximizing overall production efforts in a team environment.
  • Fulfill production job duties in a cleanroom ISO 9001 environment.
  • Carry out mechanical setups, feed machines, carry out basic maintenance tasks and execute various transactions in data software.
  • Contribute to various department improvement efforts
  • C Shift: Monday – Friday 10:00pm – 6:00am  

 

Physical Attributes:

  • Lift, push, and or pull up to 45lbs
  • Stand for an 8-hour shift.

 

Who You Are:

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED  
  • 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or higher, OR Vocational Technical Trade Certification / Degree
  • Able to follow safe work practices
  • Familiarity with EH&S, ISO, cGMP, and other regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment
  • Certified Lean/Six Sigma experience (e.g. belt certifications, root cause analysis training, and kaizen experience)
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Knowledge of lock-out-tag-out and electrical safety
  • Interpersonal and teamwork involvement
