Your role:


We are seeking a Postdoctoral Scientist (all genders) for our Display Research Physics group within our Electronics business. Display Physics characterizes and develops the materials for our OLED business. As Postdoctoral Scientist in Display Research Physics, you are part of Research projects with the aim to deliver next-generation products our Display customers need. Your experimental and leadership skills and experience guide you in designing and conducting experiments at our state-of-the art deposition and characterization equipment, and in managing highly trained and skilled lab technicians. Also, you will conduct complex data analyses, based on your deep understanding of OLED devices and materials. You will be embedded in a strong and teamwork focused leadership team.


Who you are:


  • PhD in experimental Physics, Materials Science or similar, with significant experience in OLED or a related field
  • State of the art knowledge in organic electronic materials and -devices and their processing
  • Experience with vacuum and cleanroom technology, preferably in designing vacuum-based deposition tools or physical measurement setups
  • Experience in working in international and multidisciplinary teams, preferably successful collaboration with colleagues from computational physics/quantum chemistry
  • Ability to simplify complexity for efficient communication
  • Very good German and English skills
