Your Role: 


EMD Electronics is immediately hiring for a Field Service Technician to join our Tempe Team in a dynamic fast paced, exciting new opportunity!

The Field Service Technician position allows you to travel and meet new people while at the same time working on world class specialty gas and chemical deliveries systems, manufactured in our corporate factories. As a Field Service Tech, you will be working at customer locations across the U.S. and possibly some international locations.


In this role every day looks different, and you will have the opportunity to work on many types of equipment!  Your job duties may include installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of gas delivery systems (i.e. GasGuard), liquid chemical delivery systems (i.e. ChemGuard), and planarization and parts clean systems (i.e. Poly Flow), as well as associated support systems including pumps, distribution piping, and exhaust systems.

Who You Are:


Minimum Qualifications: 

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of experience working in or at Semiconductor fabrication 
  • 1+ years of experience in Low voltage and signal wiring (AC/DC) 
  • 1+ years of experience working in Chemical & Gas field 


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Previous experience in Auto, HVAC, or Aviation Repair and Maintenance  
  • Previous basic software experience, i.e. Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills 
  • Committed to a safe and quality work environment or experience having worked in OSHA environment
