Your Role:

The Cell Therapies R&D group is seeking an experienced professional senior scientific manager to lead a new therapeutic cell processing applications team.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for development of the application support strategy for our new products in this space and overseeing a lab-based team for project execution.  You will be responsible for socializing the applications results to stakeholders throughout the organization as well as to customers in the form of external publications & presentations as well as in direct customer meetings. The focus of this application team will be to support the launch of products that utilize sonic waves for gentle closed processing of cells including T cells, MSCs, NK and others. Located in Bedford, MA. 

 

 

Who You Are:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering or other scientific or engineering discipline
  • 7+ years’ experience in the Industry and at least 2+ years working in the Cell Therapies field

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with processing therapeutic cells
  • Experience designing experiments and analyzing data
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment and the ability to work efficiently on challenging complex projects with aggressive timelines
