Your role:


You will maintain and install equipment, facilities, and utility systems and to provide leadership, expertise, and training to other department members.  This is a multi-skilled position that can complete work orders that cross over traditional disciplines.

You will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and setting up production equipment in a fast-paced environment.  This includes adjustments, routine set up changes, machine rebuilds, support engineering and helping to mentor others within the team.  


  • Perform Corrective and Preventive Maintenance of equipment, facilities, utility systems
  • Complete assigned work orders
  • Participation in the call-in program
  • Successful completion of required training curriculum and cGMP compliance
  • Work collaboratively with peers and other functions


Physical Attributes:

  • Wearing of appropriate protective gear, (hard hats, glasses/goggles, chemical resistant suits, gloves, safety shoes) and other personal protection equipment "PPE" to protect themselves from toxic or corrosive chemicals in the forms of liquids, solids, vapors or airborne particles
  • The work area may occasionally be wet, humid abnormally hot or cold
  • Siting, standing, walking, reaching above the shoulder, stooping, kneeling, twisting, crouching or crawling for long periods of time 
  • Talking, hearing, tasting and smelling 
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds unassisted and ability to push and pull heavy materials to complete assignment; May lift more poundage with assistance
  • Utilize vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Uses phones, computers, computer monitors and all office/manufacturing equipment
  • Typing at a computer keyboard and have the ability to read CRTs/computer monitors

Who you are:


Minimum Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or GED, or HSED
  • 5+ years machine maintenance experience


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Trade school certificate
  • Journeyman, HVAC or Electrician
  • Facilities background with working experience on industrial electrical and water systems
  • Working knowledge of electrical theory
  • Strong mechanical skills including electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatics
  • Understands operation/setup of various electrical devices (i.e. sensors, motors)
  • Good understanding of PC and HMI functionality
  • Basic robotic knowledge including point teaching
  • Experience in lockout, tag out, electrical safety (QEW), etc
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • High understanding of general project management principles
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Familiarity with EH&S, ISO, cGMP, and other regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment
