Intership - DSP robotic workflow development
Location : Corsier-sur-Vevey

Mission: Implementation of DSP process development workflows onto an innovative robotic platform
Your role:
As a member of the Global Drug Substance Development, you will work with a group of motivated scientists who are committed to developing and implementing solutions to support the production of new biological therapeutics.
A complete end-to-end laboratory robotic platform has been implemented. This platform will be used to improve the purification process development of monoclonal antibodies by significantly reducing time and costs and enhancing data and outcomes quality. Your missions will focus on new equipment testing and implementation inside the robotic platform, and developing and testing new process development workflows. This implies to explore various scientific topics linked to robotic scale constraints, such as the lack of inline signals during chromatography or the comparability of results obtained as compared to larger scales. You will evaluate the robustness and efficiency of the developed workflows through the design and execution of laboratory experiments.
You will be trained to be autonomous, and you will have the opportunity to present your work during various meetings.
Your profile:
- Master/engineer student in biotechnology related fields
- Highly motivated and autonomous
- Ability to conceptualize, solve complex challenges, and communicate about your project
- Great team spirit
- Previous experience in DSP and/or Robotics is a plus
- Python skills is a plus
- Good written and oral knowledge in English, French is a plus
