Your role:
You will be part of a lab team with different analytical techniques like HPLC and GC equipped with various types of detectors. These methods are used to analyse new organic light emitting diode (OLED) materials, liquid crystals (LC) and semiconductor materials as well. The candidates will take part in evaluation and test of new analytical procedures and methods. The internship takes place in the Central Analytical Services Department.
Our department offers analytical services to internal customers at the company in particular for R&D. One of these services is the characterization and analysis of high tech materials for display and lighting applications based on OLEDs or liquid crystals. Different chromatographic methods are in use to test the material purity and detect impurities. Our services include the improvement of analytical procedures and routine measurements as well.

Who you are:
• Student (all genders) of Chemistry or Analytical Sciences
• Collaborative; Results-driven and fast learner with organizational talent and strong team player
• Broad knowledge of instrumental analytical methods and computer skills
• Very good organizational and communication skills
• German and/or English (excellent knowledge spoken and written)

Duration: 9-12 months fulltime, Start: Spring/Summer 2024
