Job Functions: 

  • Design, build and Develop SAP TM and ERP ecosystem to support all functions of business in supply chain logistics execution as per overall strategy set by the program management. 

  • Lead the efforts of SAP team to maximize the effectiveness of SAP Solutions to support business goals of the company 

  • Strong exposure to integration technologies including IDOC, ALE, RFC, PI, XPS , XML and Web-Services 

  • Demonstrate capability to utilize best practices to support SAP ERP Configurations across modules for the business.  

  • Proven ability to understand the business processes of the organization and the core application environments.  

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities. 

  • Understand business needs/requirements and translate that understanding into a form. 

  • Perform analysis to gather requirements for integration with other SAP modules (SD, EWM ). 

  • Provide test plans, test cases, perform functional testing and assure proper user acceptance testing. 

  • Experience in business systems analysis experience designing, implementing, and supporting transportation processes. 

  • In-depth understanding and expertise in SAP TM module. 

  • Experience with XML Monitoring (SXMB_MONI), RFC Queue Management (base level understanding). 

  • Mandatory skill should be an ability to understand BOPF framework and debug independently. 

  • Configuring the integration between TM and ECC. 

  • Experience with POWLs. 

  • Ability to debug code and troubleshooting. 

  • Core Interface CIF. 

  • Perform SAP TM system research, configuration, and integration with SAP ECC. 

  • Create functional specifications for Technical Developers. Execute system testing during required test cycles as well as day to day enhancement/defect testing for areas including TM Planning and ECC. 

  • Transportation Master Data, End-to-end Order management, Freight order management, Freight procurement and capacity planning. 

  • Optimization of ERP Logistics integration, Interactive planning, subcontracting and tendering. 

  • Agreement management and settlements [invoicing] 

  • Tariff and rate calculation, Charge calculation and settlements and internal charging. 

 

Experience 

  • Must have at least 5 + years of working on SAP TM Projects.  

  • Minimum of 5 + Years' experience in a progressive responsibility expanding capability with focus in area of implementing SAP TM Solutions and in supporting SAP eco system with hand-on working experience in SAP ABAP (Technical)  

  • Must have experience of all lifecycles of implementing an SAP TM Solution in a regional or central distribution system.  

  • Life science business experience is a definite plus for this position.  Ability to be productive in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction 

 

Knowledge and Skills 

  • Must have completed at least 4 end to end SAP TM implementation projects for a customer in same or similar industry. 

  • Working Experience on SAP  ABAP ( Technical)  & SAP EWM integration is desirable.  

  • Tactical Thinking and the ability to execute successfully 

  • Wide degree of technical skills and creativity is expected 

  • Must understand the integration technologies like EDI, ALE/IDOCs, PI, XPS,XML, Web Services. 

  • Good Problem Solving and Communication skills.

  • Change managment process
