Your Role:

• Responsible for implementing and continuously improving safety programs to achieve full compliance with all applicable laws & regulations and EHS requirements.
• This role will be reported to Life-Science new plant EHS manager and work collaboratively with other Korea plants EHS staff.
• Maintain and regular review the compliance of national and local environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Lead the implementation and validation of EHS requirements with supporting plant EHS manager.
• Management of safety annual target, performance, KPI, safety committee.
• Lead and management of Risk Assessment, Job Safety Analysis, Machine Safety Analysis, forklift driving safety, loading/unloading safety concerns..,etc.
• Development of safety training material and management of internal/external EHS training plan.
• Development of plant safety management SOP/WI with referring to local regulation and EHS standard.
• Provision of local & Global EHS guideline to plant management team.
• Development and management of PSM documents, response of regular audit.
• Set the regular safety inspection plan and perform inspection with each department safety officer.
• Support investigation for safety incident, Security incidents and work-related injuries/illness to identify root causes and corrective/preventive actions.
• Management of identified corrective and preventive actions.
• Development of ISO45001 documents and response regular audit.
• Collaboration with relevant operation teams for safety improvement.
• Regular inspection for safety protective device of equipment, tools..,etc
• Set the emergency response plan and drill with plant employee.
• Drive improvements in organizational EHS culture, awareness, and accountability.
• Management of safety activity record and safety license/permit.

Who you are:

• 7+ years' experience on managing EHS compliance and/or programs in multinational companies.
• Bachelor degree in Safety, Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Good knowledge for process safety and risk assessment methodology
• Engineer Industrial Safety Certificate(산업안전기사) or Industrial Engineer Industrial Safety Certificate(산업안전산업기사) or Industrial Engineer Hazardous material(위험물산업기사) or Engineer Gas(가스기사) or Industrial Engineer Gas(가스산업기사) preferred
• PSM(공정안전보고서), ISO45001 experience preferred
• Dangerous goods(DG)/hazardous substance management experience preferred
• EHS compliance audit response experience preferred
• Excellent leadership, program and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Korean & English
• As for the work location, it will be currently located in Song-do, but it will be changed to *Sihwa or *near Daejeon area according to the site decision later.

Working in Songdo for a certain period of time after joining the company (period may vary by position)
