Your Role:

As the Sr UX Designer, you will be responsible for translating business and user requirements into design solutions for end-users and other stakeholders.  In addition, you will propose pragmatic solutions that are consistent with industry best practices and user expectations, while balancing technical, data and schedule constraints. You may travel up to 20% both domestically and internationally.  This role will be a hybrid position reporting into our Spruce / St. Louis site.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Collecting and analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data to make design decisions based on test results and usability standards/best practices
• Prototyping applications on paper, XD and Axure as needed
• Working closely with development teams
• Working co-located with other designers and partners / associates

 Who You Are:

 Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• 5+ years UX Design experience
• 5+ years of experience applying UCD principles
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience with UX deliverables (storyboards, wireframes, low/high fidelity designs/prototypes)
• 3+ years of experience designing for responsive web and mobile apps
• 5+ years of experience with Figma and Adobe products including XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
• 1+ years of experience working with Axure and Sketch
• 3+ years of experience with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JS)

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Software Engineering or other technical field
• Extensive knowledge of various web development technologies, trends in technology and design patterns including mobile/responsive design
• Life Science or similar industry experience
• Experience conducting usability testing
• Understanding of usability methods, research, contextual inquiries
• Project management experience
• Fluency in additional languages
