Your Role:

The Production Operator will carry out all designated duties of the Operations Department within the Secondary Production Unit. This role is a 2-year FTC and will be based within our Livingston Facility.

 

  • Complete daily manufacture and filling operations within the cleanroom using established manufacturing methods
  • Ensure that all cleanroom operations are carried out in the correct manner, observing cleanroom behaviour and practice at all times.
  • Complete daily labelling operations within the labelling area
  • Operate manufacturing, filling and labelling equipment following relevant SOPs and training
  • Ensure that the cleanroom, labelling and supporting areas are well maintained in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Manufacture, fill and label products in accordance with the relevant SOPs and GMP.  Complete Batch Manufacturing Process (BMP) for tracing product according to established procedures.
  • Ensure that all relevant batch documentation is according to established process and in accordance with GMP.  As requested, assist in the preparation and modification of Company documentation.
  • Ensure that all materials and components required for the manufacture, filling and labelling operations are correctly handled and reconciled in accordance with GMP.
  • As requested, aid within the label and packing area and/or other departments.  Follow all established standards and complete assignments in accordance with relevant SOP’s.
  • As requested, assist in providing staff training.
  • Comply with and maintain the Merck (UK) Ltd quality System.
  • Carry out any other reasonable task as requested by Supervisor and/or Manager.

 

 

Who You Are:

 

  • High level of attention to detail required.
  • Knowledge of handling techniques is preferable.
  • Knowledge of working within cleanrooms or GMP would be desirable, however training will be provided.
  • Good team player who is highly motivated.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work on own initiative.
