Intern - MVDA and at-line PAT

Your role:  

As part of the Technology Innovation team with Global Drug Subtance Development, you will join a group of motivated scientists with the goal to create and implement solutions to support the development and manufacturing of new biological therapeutics. 

Process Analytical Technologies (PATs) are a set of relatively new solutions that enable biopharmaceutical process to monitor/control/correct the process in real-time. This leads to a better product quality and in-depth process knowledge.  

Your mission will focus on: 

• Getting trained to use Simca software as a tool for building PLS regression models 

• Building model with data coming from Raman (PAT) instrument using Simca for evaluation of Process Parameters and Quality Attributes

• Improving model building ability of this software by adding Python scripts (optional) 

• Supporting development of at-line analytical methods 

• Developing liquid handling protocol on Trilution software 

Your profile: 

- Master/engineering student in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Data analytics, Statistics or other related fields  

- Highly motivated and autonomous 

- Analytical mindset and ability to conceptualize, solve problems, and present results clearly 

- Ability to write Python and/or R script as a mean of large data analysis is a plus 

- Knowledge of chemometric model building and multi-variate data analysis is a plus 

- Hands on biology or chemistry lab experience is a plus 

- Excellent command of English, French is a plus
