Your Role:

Act as process safety engineer for new investment project in S. Korea for Life Science. The candidate will be responsible for process safety from design, construction till commissioning, qualification, start-up, and future plant routine operation.

• In charge of implementing Pre-DHR (Pre-Design Hazard Review), Operability Review, DHR (Design Hazard Review such as HAZOP), DVR (Design Verification Review_Follow-up HAZOP recommendations), PSSR (Pre-Startup Safety Review), and QRA (Quantitative Risk Analysis) in accordance with local regulations, worldwide codes and/or our EH&S and Engineering standards.
• Provide best process safety solutions to prevent major hazard (Flammable, Toxic, Corrosive etc.) in the process liquid and dust explosion in dry power media
• To establish and maintain good process safety programs for internal and external customers.
• To provide some process safety trainings to not only stakeholders but also major customers.
• EHS Compliance review and follow-up permits
• PSM certification and Chemical accident prevent plan and DG permits for new plant construction
• PSM operation, management, and government audit response.
• Application and management of safety equipment when changing facilities

Who you are:

• Over 5+ years of process safety / process engineering experience in pharmaceutical, petrochemical, chemical industry, or related industries.
• Capable of leading / performing Hazard reviews (HAZAOP), Qualitative risk analysis, Quantitative risk analysis, Mechanical integrity consulting, Safety integrated system analysis, Critical safety circuit define, Management of change, Process safety management, Pre-Startup Safety Review, etc.
• Experience in companies with excellent process safety and/or process engineering function is preferred.
• Process engineering background in pharmaceutical, petrochemical, chemical plants is preferred.
• Good communication, teaching and coaching skills are required.
• Fluent in English
• As for the work location, it will be currently located in Song-do, but it will be changed to *Sihwa or *near Daejeon area according to the site decision later.
