Your role:

An exciting role is now available in our Quality team, we are hiring for a Head of Quality to cover the Turkey subsidiary.

As a leader of the quality function, part of the MEAR Quality LT, and local LT team you will lead and manage all quality and compliance related aspects for Turkey with regards to GDP and GMP in alignment with the strategy defined with the business and global quality functions. 
Your responsibilities will include maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS), building quality awareness within local management team and ensure that local management fulfils its role regarding quality requirements as defined in the applicable regulations. You will be reporting quality performance indicators to local management and take leadership in the performance of Tier 1 Quality Councils and Quality Management Reviews and establishing and managing an appropriate Quality Department that covers all GMP/GDP Quality critical tasks. You will ensure review, approval and ongoing monitoring of suppliers and implement/maintain an effective Risk Management plan for applicable processes in the country.

You will also oversee implementing Corporate and Global company standards and procedures, international and local applicable GDP/GMP regulations and ensuring that the defined quality systems and standards are implemented and followed.

You will  work togheter with the Responsible Pharmacist in order to perform Product Disposition for all shipments received, manage quality related aspects of company GMP/GDP vendors and partners in the country and liaise with quality global functions (HCQ) and report status of quality systems implementation, KPI and quality issues.
 You will oversee ongoing monitoring of CMO´s under Subsidiary responsibility, ensure thorough audit programs, periodic quality reviews, are in place and in use and ensure through the audit process that adequate quality systems are in place at the CMO complying to both local regulations regarding GMP/GDP and company's HCQ standards.

Who you are:

• A doctorate or academic degree in natural or applied sciences (Medicine, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering, Biotechnology), pharmaceutical background would be a preferable choice for this role
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in quality assurance and/or quality control and/or production / distribution in the pharmaceutical industry
• Thorough knowledge of GDP / GMP and applicable Turkish regulations
• Demonstrated ability to handle and oversee multiple tasks simultaneously and to prioritize
• Demonstrated ability of communication and collaboration with stakeholders from different backgrounds and seniority levels
• Demonstrated good written and verbal communication skill
• Fluency in Turkish and English
