Your Role:

 

The Technician, Maintenance 2 is responsible for a wide variety of assignments from minor to moderately complex. Work may range from adjustment and minor repairs to assisting with the complete overhaul of heavy/complex lab equipment. This role will also be responsible for the following:

 

  • Complete all training objectives on time (Safety, SOPs, OJT)
  • Repairs lab equipment systems
  • Responsible for the accuracy, clarity and compliance of all documentation i.e. PM task sheets, Work Orders, Logbooks, etc., generated during the work shift
  • Responsible for servicing, repairing and maintaining lab equipment including incubators, centrifuges, refrigerator,s and freezers
  • Wide variety of assignments from minor to moderately complex
  • Monitors service of outside vendors and inspects work performed as needed
  • Trains with Sr. Technician to increase skill sets and overall knowledge of buildings
  • Research and orders materials for repairs as needed
  • Performs tasks in accordance with SOPs and regulations (cGMP and GLP)
  • Complies with company health and safety regulations and procedures
  • Performs duties independently with minimal supervision

 

Physical Attributes

 

  • Lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Wear PPE such as lab coats, shoe covers, gloves and mask

 

Who you are: 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ Years working on lab equipment

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • 2+ Years working in a cGxP environment working on lab equipment
  • Lab and clean room experience and training
  • Possess Boiler License
