As a Medical Advisor you will be responsible for ensuring Merck's compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and laws as well as providing expertise on drug safety and medical topics. You will support existing or new product promotion by providing medical expert advice to ensure the accuracy of data.
You will develop medical product information and keep yourself up to date on scientific trends and competition as well as GxP knowledge. You will be responsible for interacting and building positive relationship with KOLs, developing medical materials and training internal teams in medical topics. In your role you will act as a Medical Affairs therapy expert, supporting the local leadership team in the development of therapy areas, launch of products and brand strategies. You will provide support in the planning and tracking of the medical budget. You will lead/support medical studies, assist to coordinate local medical information and clinical projects and contribute to site selection for clinical projects. You will also lead local publication processes and publication dissemination and alignment with the publication plan.
Who you are:
- Educated to a degree level, preferably as a Medical Doctor or Pharmacist or similar.
- Experience from a pharma company or experience in a medical role would be required.
- Knowledge and experience of methodology of clinical research and Good Clinical Practice is preferred.
- Previous Medical Advisor/MSL or related pharmaceutical experience in cardiometabolic field would be an advantage.
- Have strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Have a high attention to details and accuracy to be compliant with regulations, policies etc. connected to the role.
- Able to evaluate publications on scientific content and communicate medical data to partners.
- Proficiency in English and Hungarian are a must.
