KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Team leader is responsible for production of products from microbial fermentation at downstream stages under different regulatory standards [ISO9001 (MQ100 / 200 / 300/ 400), ISO13485 (MQ 500) ]

The team leader, controls, monitors and measures the activity of the recovery and purification team, and takes active part in the production process (professional and administrative management), ensuring that the products are manufactured efficiently on time, in the desired quality, quantity and cost.

 

 

 

AUTHORITY

 

  • Annual training in the team
  • Approval of attendance report
  • Approval and initiation of change requests and submission CAPA's to further reviewers
  • Production planning and prioritization of the job orders
  • Annual objectives setting and performance appraisal of the department employees
  • Approval of new SOP's and MMF's before transferring to further reviewers.
  • Responsible for relevant Production deviations
  • Collaborating and coordinating activities with quality and maintenance functions
  • Ensure full support on process development team during PD productions.
  • Ensure fulfillment of quality, environmental, health and safety requirements
  • Ensure excellent collaboration with other teams and production departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

EDUCATION/LANGUAGES

  • Engineering or BSc studies in science -MSc advantage (Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Chemical engineering, Biotechnology engineering)
  • Fluent English and Hebrew – read, write, speak.

 

 

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

 

  • Managerial experience. 2-5 years
  • Experience in industrial processes. In the field of biotechnology- an advantage
