This position is in Global IT, Infrastructure Technology, Digital Workplace – Mobile Device Management. The Mobile Device Management Team provides and manages the global hardware standards, MDM administration framework and tools, connectivity to the Enterprise network, global application catalogs and corresponding update and security processes. Mobile hardware in place is in addition to standard business usage also for specific uses cases like in regulated environments or also for more robust and industrial related use cases like explosive areas, picking- and shipping departments and warehouses. Equipment like Microsoft InTune and Soti “Mobi Control” are in use for mobile device configuration. The team works together with other infrastructure units like Network-, IAM- and Security teams, provides input and collaborates with the Global Service Desk and structures services based on requirements from application and business units.



  • Provisioning of global assistance and support to a diversified Enterprise Mobility ecosystem with more than 32000 devices 
  • 2nd level user support and related ticket handling
  • Support in troubleshooting (incident management) and Root Cause Analysis (problem management) for global issues in the MDM area
  • Coordination with internal teams like Service Desk, Field Service, local IT units, License Management team and other infrastructure units like IAM-, AD-, Network-, Data Center- and Security-teams
  • Coordination with vendors and contribution to internal and external escalation management processes
  • Creation of related policies and global standards
  • Creation and maintaining of documentation, Knowledge-Documents and Working-Instructions


  • ITIL processes like Incident-, Problem-, Change- and Service Continuity management
  • Relevant professional experience of min. 7 years in IT in a large Enterprise environment with many thousands of users 
  • Verifiable knowledge and expertise of technologies underlying Enterprise Mobility Management solutions such as device MDM, app wrapping, app management, data management, file sharing / syncing, identity/ access management and adjacent technologies
  • You have very good analytical skills and you see topics with a broader and comprehensive picture and can easily identify cross-dependencies
  • Flexibility and keen pursuit of innovation throughout all processes in the continuous search of sustainable new ideas
  • Willingness to set yourself challenging goals to achieve superior performance
  • Responsibility for the improvement of all products, services, processes and working routines within your working area

  • Professional knowledge and experience in operating the following technologies in a global enterprise mobile environment:
    • Microsoft EMS (Intune) and its solution components and a good understanding of Azure Active Directory and Conditional Access
    • Mobile Operating Systems such as iOS, Android, Windows
    • Mobile threat protection technologies, and concepts
    • Traditional and cloud-based authentication and authorization 
  • Minimum of 5 years EMM/MDM experience, specifically with Microsoft InTune and service ecosystem
  • In-depth hands on experience in leading mobile OS - Android, iOS
  • Good understanding of IT Infrastructure technologies and infrastructure management operations
  • Vendor management (communication, coordination and escalation)
  • Support processes with interfacing Service Desk, Field Service, Manager on Duty and 3rd level support
  • Scripting skills like Powershell, VB script or Shell script would be of advantage
