Planning, Insights, & Analytics: Operational Performance Analytics Lead

 

About the role: In this important global role within our Planning, Insights & Analytics department, you deliver fit-for-purpose analytics to support robust clinical trial operational plans to enable data-driven decision making and performance analysis & improvements across our global Development organization.

As an integral part of a strong global team, you will ensure a rapid turnaround of analysis requests by senior management, functional leadership, and cross-functional study teams in order to enable proactive and continuous performance management and insights of our clinical studies and portfolio. You will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of standard and ad-hoc analyses & reports to support this.  

Additionally, you will support our Clinical Study Planning Leads in development, oversight, maintenance, and analysis of trial operational plans in a Planisware system. This will involve supporting timeline, budget forecasting, and resource planning and analysis for clinical trials.

Finally, you will also contribute to or lead the design and development of novel analytics in collaboration with our teams to advance efforts towards streamlining our underlying processes and workflows.

Other tasks as assigned by line management.

Who you are:

  • Bachelors degree in scientific or business area
  • Excellent command of MS Excel – knowledge of advanced visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Spotfire)
  • Experience in bio-/pharma or life sciences industry – ideally, in clinical operations and/or performance measurement
  • Experience in Planisware or similar project managment software is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to coordinate & organize multiple sources of inputs into a master platform and deliver project status and analysis reports as required.
    Experience in working in an agile manner with global cross-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal communication, influencing and lateral leadership skills
  • Strong organizational skills, high quality focus and result orientation
  • Solid MS Office skills
  • Fluency in English
  • At least 5 years of professional experience
