Manufacturing Process Engineer

At MilliporeSigma, the Manufacturing Process Engineer is an exciting opportunity to be a member of a critical Life Science manufacturing facility.
- Lead improvement initiatives as it relates to product, process, and technology
- Work with the manufacturing department to identify, analyze, and execute on business process and technological sustenance and advancement projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions of the business such as Production Planning, Maintenance, Engineering and others
- Act as Project Manager and liaison for assigned projects
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical), or other Life Science field
- 5+ years of work experience in pharmaceutical or life science industry
- Master’s degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical), or Life Science field
- Lean or Six Sigma Certification
- PMP certification or project management experience
- Ability to initiate and lead cross-functional projects
- Understanding of basic business principles, and ability to develop business-case
- Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and production equipment.
- Familiarity with ISO, OSHA, EPA, FDA Regulations
- Technical leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Planning, organizational and team building skills
