Supply Chain Planner

 

Your Role: 

 

As a Supply Chain Planner, you will play a crucial part in steering the global Supply Chain for Surface Solutions. The position is part of a Global Supply Chain Planning Americas team and serves the Business Unit Surface Solutions. The key to success is collaboration with a variety of interfaces globally (e.g., Product Management, Customer Service etc.).

 

The main task is to ensure a high customer service level while balancing cost and inventories. You will own the part of the demand planning process and collaborate with Sales to create the demand plan. You will ensure optimal intercompany finished product inventory distribution in line with service and inventory target.

 

This position is located in Savannah, GA and is open to be a hybrid-remote role. This role is  Monday-Friday, regular business hours with flexibility needed for global business.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Develop, continuously maintain, and monitor execution of feasible production, distribution, and procurement plans
  • Execute rough cut capacity planning for own production lines/suppliers and balance the plan to minimize cost impact to production
  • Monitor product availability and ensure accurate planning master data respective planning systems
  • Deliver on key service, inventory, and cost metrics by proactively managing risks and issues as well as guarantee the high forecast accuracy

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain
  • 3+ years of work experience in Supply Chain

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • APICS CSCP certification
  • Very good understanding of supply chain processes & best practices
  • Experience in leading change and leading teams in a multi-functional environment
  • Experience with APO DP, SNP, PP/DS and SAP MRP
  • Analytics, Data management skills
