Your Role:


At MilliporeSigma, the Technical and Scientific Solutions (TSS) group provides high quality scientific and technical support to MilliporeSigma customers developing or manufacturing bio-pharmaceuticals. The Process Solutions Technical Service Scientist reports into the TSS team and is responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our customers. This is done through our toll-free phone line, email, and website on our Process Solutions product portfolio and associated technologies used in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical industry.


· Fulfill customers’ needs and solve problems which arise

· Support customers with product and application inquiries by providing technical information, troubleshooting, and recommending solutions

· Act as Customer Advocates, handle complaints related to product quality, and work closely with our Quality associates to support our customers through this process

· Work cross-functionally with other internal teams such as MSAT, Customer Applications, Manufacturing, Product Management, R&D, Regulatory, & Sales

· Balance multiple projects/responsibilities simultaneously

· Assist in technical training programs and visiting customer sites as needed

· Less than 10% domestic travel

Who you are:


Minimum Qualifications:


· Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science or Engineering field (Biology/Biochemistry/Chemistry or Chemical/Biochemical Engineering) and 3+ years’ experience in a laboratory or pharmaceutical/biotech industry environment


· Master’s Degree in a Life Science or Engineering field (Biology/Biochemistry/Chemistry or Chemical/Biochemical Engineering) and 1+ plus years’ experience in a laboratory or pharmaceutical/biotech industry environment


Preferred Requirements:


· Experience networking within large organizations and collaborating with internal business partners

· Familiarity with one or more of the following: Upstream Processing (cell culture, filtration), Downstream Processing (clarification, purification, TFF filtration, final fill), or Formulation (excipients, actives)

· Knowledge of regulatory requirements

· Excellent peer and customer interaction skills, and the ability to work in a team environment
