  • Productivity - Continuous turnover of DNA synthesis machinery and post-production machinery and processes. Minimize machine downtime and prioritize tasks in order to maximize personal output.
  • Perform PAGE purification – gel preparation and activation, purification, electro-elution, and desalting.
  • Quality - Perform machine checks for each batch. Monitor and record visual verification. Monitor chemical usage at end of synthesis and report inconsistencies. Work to departmental SOP standards at all times.
  • Preparation and operation of analytical equipment (HPLC, ESI LC/MS).
  • Safety - Wear appropriate PPE, properly dispose of waste and follow all safety EHS guidelines at all times.
  • Problem Solving and Job Knowledge – Identify potential problems. Knowledge of DNA synthesis chemistry. Trouble-shooting prior, during, and after synthesis run. Understand production database (CPP) and associated production software.
  • Adaptability - Adapt quickly to changes in processes and protocols according to global demand.
  • Cooperation - Assist and offer support to co-workers. Maintain a positive and pleasant manner. Resolve conflicts in a timely manner. Exhibit tact and consideration to all employees.
  • Ensuring ISO 9001-2000 compliance and compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety requirements.
  • Supporting the department in scheduling, prioritizing, and coordinating all the oligos production-associated activities performed by the department team to meet OTD.
  • Providing technical support and ongoing maintenance of departmental production facilities.
  • Participate in process improvements including the introduction of new technologies to production processes and submit ideas for cost and resource reduction.
  • Support peptide department as required.


  • Manufacturing of synthetic oligos (and peptides if required) according to the production SOP, in accordance with compliance and QA requirements.
  • Sop’s updating. 
  • Order raw materials for the manufacturing process up to 1000 NIS. 
  • Operating production and analytic equipment.
  • Use of corporate electronic data systems. 
  • In-process control tests of manufactured products.





  • Lab technician or Practical engineer certificate at minimum, preferably B.A in Chemistry or degree in natural sciences.
  • Fluent in English and Hebrew





  • Some experience of working in a similar environment (manufacturing &/or laboratory)
  • Experience in laboratory work in oligos synthesis - advantage
  • Experience in HPLC - advantage

Experience in MS - advantage
