Your Role: Assisting customers with technical issues or questions relating to predominately lab water systems. Answering phone queries, email inquiries and/or messaging platforms helping diagnose technical issues over the phone and speaking  with them about installing hardware or software. There is a ‘real’ opportunity to leave a legacy or footprint with Merck within this role - as a key contributor to the development of the ‘demonstration lab facility’ at Macquarie Park. In addition, your role will be key contributor in keeping the technical capability  within the team ‘current’.  


Who you are:  

  • A bachelor's degree in science or related technology field is preferred or previous field service engineering experience would be highly regarded .  

  • Passion for taking ownership of this portfolio will be a key to your success!  

  • A strong customer service mindset, with a track record in simplifying information for  a range of  customers will be highly regarded .  

  • Very strong interpersonal skills coupled with strong administration and organisational abilities, will see you excel in this role!  

  • Previous training experience is desired but not essential 

  • A true collaborator who wants to make an impact!
