Your Role:

This position provides engineering technician services for the Production Engineering Department. These services include troubleshooting plant chemical and support systems to meet safety and quality requirements; day-to-day support for the engineering team; directing plant operators and maintenance technicians under safety work permits to troubleshoot, repair and/or optimize purification, packaging, and container processing systems.

  • Utilize the BSP process to ensure safety performance compliance
  • Support coordination of production equipment repairs, troubleshooting and optimization
  • Assist engineering and production teams with identifying solutions to production challenges
  • Source materials and resources internally/externally as needed for various projects independently
  • Manage routine calibrations and bench-testing of equipment, relief valve testing, and critical spares inventory and back-filling


Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Associates degree in Engineering field desirable.
  • 3+ years of experience in a production, maintenance, or facilities department


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated safety focus
  • Hands-on mechanical inclination and experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Excel and Word
  • Basic experience with plant instrumentation and automated production processes
  • Ability to read a P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagram)
  • Experience working with hazardous chemicals
