Your Role:

At MilliporeSigma, the Manufacturing Lead (reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor) leads day-to-day operations in a production line setting. 

  • Oversee operator training to ensure compliance to the company’s training program.      
  • Inform supervisor of potential and/or existing concerns.
  • Ensure accuracy of documentation, while confirming labels and materials are scanned and filed properly.
  • A-shift: Mon-Thurs 6:15am-5pm                    


Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of manufacturing operations experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree a plus.
  • Previous team leadership experience highly desired.
  • Ability to operate PCs, printers, Word, Excel, Access, IQS, My Learning, Oracle a plus.   
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices. 
  • Knowledge of product flow throughout a manufacturing production line.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner with all levels of staff both orally and written.  
  • Ability to work in a group setting.   
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.  
  • Ability to work quickly and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.    
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and team building skills with the ability to work with a diverse group of people.
  • Ability to analyze and maintain data within all applicable systems.
  • Ability to identify and correct discrepancies between applicable systems.
  • Experience performing quality checks or audits to ensure procedures are being followed correctly
  • Experience with coordinating work orders
  • Experience participating in and supporting the development and implementation of process improvement projects
