Your Role: 

  • Responsible for collaboration with our skilled scientists to work on on-going projects related to development and/or generating biological products such as monoclonal antibodies, bispecific, Fc fusion proteins etc.  
  • Perform lab based experiments ranging from purification to supporting other team members including but not limited to buffer and sample prep, assays such as A280 using lunatic, osmolarity, pH and conductivity measurement
  • Participate in activities for development, implementation, validation, and tech transfer of processes and different studies for biological molecules of cDMO projects.
  •  This is a lab position, and your engagement and expertise will be expected from the bench for assays, troubleshooting and all relevant activities. 

 

Who you are:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED with 3+ years’ experience in the biopharmaceutical industry or an Associate’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology or other related Scientific discipline with 0+ years lab experience in the biopharmaceutical industry

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Associate's/Bachelor's degree in a Scientific discipline.
  • Experience with good documentation practices, following protocols and batch records.
  • Knowledge or working experience, basic chemistry, chromatographic, filtration and spectroscopic techniques. Good knowledge and understanding of lab environment.
  • High level of professional responsibility:  The technician must have a high level of responsibility for each project from start to finish with follow through with the lead scientist as required.
  • Take the initiative to set-up and work to a schedule and be flexible to accommodate occasional weekend/holiday work.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Good communication skills among group members, group managers, and project coordinators. 
  • Good skills in statistical analysis using excel or other programs
  • Good presentation and writing skills.
  • Results-oriented with ability to work and deliver under pressure
  • Good knowledge on biotech processes development, and protein purification are nice to have.
  • Results-oriented with ability to work and deliver under pressure in collaborative team
