Your Role: an exciting opportunity has become available to join the team in Haverhill as a DNA Manufacturing Technician.  Reporting into the Night Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for the Synthesis and Purification of Custom DNA. Duties of the role also include using our in-house DNA synthesis and purification platforms for both desalting and reverse phase purification processes; preparing and operating both synthesis and purification equipment along with associated liquid handling equipment; monitoring and replenishing reagents as required; preparing QC and quantification samples; performing all tasks to production schedules and associated work instructions and standards; recording run data on QMS paperwork and updating database and associated electronic forms to ISO 9001 standards.


Who You Are:

  • Educated to minimum of 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) passes including English and Maths
  • Previous experience working in a similar environment (production/manufacturing based)
  • Experience working/following SOP’s guidelines
  • Proficient in the use of computer-based systems
  • Ability to prioritise own workload

Have a proactive approach with the excellent verbal and written communication skills
