Your role: An exceptional opportunity has become available for a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to work within our Process and Formulation Materials Team. You will define & implement the sales strategy to achieve financial goals in the South of Europe (Spain, Italy & Portugal). You will manage a team of Account Managers to achieve their individual sales targets and objectives. You will enhance value from the sale of products and the identification and fostering of alliances and new business opportunities. You will develop a commercial team and empower them to manage their business using the different tools and support functions available. You will develop and deliver accurate business forecasts on a quarterly basis with your team or as requested by senior management. You will lead and support the team in establishing balanced long-term client relationships that result in further developing the business while achieving a high level of client satisfaction. You will improve continually the team´s skills level by investing in the development and learning of the organization's employees, and by actively participating in the selection of external talent. You will assess the individual abilities required to achieve the organization's mission and selectively attract, empower, and retain an appropriately skilled staff that collectively achieves excellent results in their respective areas of responsibility. You will build a collaborative working environment for the team, working closely with the global commercial strategy teams, franchise management, Business Development team, Customer Excellence and other business units. The position can be based in Spain or Italy.

 

Who you are:

  • You have a Scientific Degree min BSc
  • You have 7+ years of experience in B2B sales including a solid understanding of pharmaceutical and biotech production process
  • You have an entrepreneurial mentality, with experience in the biopharmaceutical or biotech Market
  • You have strong empowering skills who can guide the sales team to meet their sales targets by bringing in new ideas to generate new business while continuing to empower the team
  • You have a strong customer focus and willingness to set and achieve ambitious goals, as well as strong communication and negotiation skills
  • You are proficient in English. Spanish or Italian native language level
  • You have availability to travel (25% time)
