Internship - Regulatory for HCDC

Internship duration: 6 months minimum

Internship location: Corsier-sur-Vevey, Switzerland

Ideal starting date: 01.07.2022

The process technology innovation group is looking for a person with a solid scientific background (chemical engineering, biotechnology) who is interested in developing quality and regulatory knowledge. The group has developed new process flows to improve operations related to cell cultures for the production of recombinant proteins. The strategy developed has proven its applicability on a technical side, but many quality and regulatory questions remain open. The role of this intern will be to gather quality and regulatory knowledge through official guidelines in order to develop a strategy to validate the new process workflow (in collaboration with different internal stakeholders, strong collaborative mindset is required). Depending on the progress of the student, the scope could be broadened (different novel technologies, full process from cell culture to drug substance, support activities for the launch of the Biotech Development Center). This is a unique opportunity to gain quality and regulatory knowledge while working closely with different departments. This work is essential to promote the vision of the process technology innovation group.

Please note that only candidates currently undertaking their studies are eligible for an intern position. An Internship Agreement will have to be issued by your school. Only applicants fulfilling this criterion will be considered.
